Dr James Watson is a Professor of Conservation Science at The University of Queensland. He leads the Green Fire Science group who share their science to make a substantive difference to conservation outcomes.
He is also Director of the Wildlife Conservation Society's Science and Research Initiative. James makes an impact globally as well, serving on Task Force of the International Panel for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Data and Knowledge.

Guy Michael Williams:
Guy Michael Williams is a primate ecologist by birth and training. He uses his monkey skills on a daily basis to dance across the complex, often competing, but always entertaining worlds of business, academia and conservation action.
His work with business is led by his role as a Director of Biodiversity and Natural Capital at Deloitte, collaborating with a global network of colleagues, clients, and partners to create science-based solutions to new and emerging environmental challenges.
His passion as an ecologist has been built up over 20 years in landscape field research across Asia and the Pacific including developing new approaches to support nature-based solutions, biodiversity strategy and screening, conservation planning, and natural capital accounting.
