2021年5月11日に、ジョッシュ・フライデンバーグ財務相は、先行き不透明な状況が続く中、パンデミック下における二回目の予算案を発表しました。引き続きウイルスが我々の生命及び生活に対する脅威であることを理解しつつ、本予算案は雇用及び投資を再度優先することを企図し作成されています。
景気刺激策に加えて、政府の方針案の多くで構造改革に引き続き焦点が当てられています。継続的なサービス分野の重視と共に、技能習得、インフラストラクチャ、規制緩和、デジタルトランスフォーメーションについても取り上げられています。
