In this dynamic forum you will hear from two key notes speakers including the latest research on Remaking the Norm on Gender Norms to realise economic breakthrough with Sruthi Srikanthan, Partner, Deloitte Access Economics.
Two retail panels will be exploring practical case studies to accelerate inclusion including:
Panel 1: "Inclusive culture: Making retail for everyone.”
This panel discussion will be focused on accelerating inclusion for all, not just for some - from how to collect and use diversity data to understand the experience of your workforce, applying an intersectional lens to initiatives to improve inclusion, as well as practical case studies from retailers who are leading the way in building awareness and change by considering overlapping attributes such as gender, race, sexuality, and disability.
Panel 2: "How to make it easy to be an ally: Engaging men and broader communities to drive change.”
To accelerate change we need to bring the majority into the discussion and avoid preaching to the converted. This panel will explore how to grow allies, how to call people in rather than call them out, how to support allies and how to redistribute the work of driving inclusion beyond minority groups.
Building broader awareness of DE&I with your “+ One”. As an ARA CEO forum member we would be delighted for you to bring a colleague from your Executive team who is not directly involved in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts within your organisation. This diverse representation will enrich our discussions and broaden the impact of the insights from the day. To make DE&I a business priority we need to build awareness for broader audiences.
