The Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry has placed a spotlight on the sector. With its focus on ‘misconduct’, the Interim Report showed how financial services have lost the trust of the Australian community. The sector has acknowledged its failures and is taking steps to address issues raised through the Royal Commission.
